White Bird is a 2024 American coming-of-age period drama film directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Mark Bomback, based on the 2019 graphic novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio. Serving as both a prequel and sequel to Wonder (2017), the film stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Bryce Gheisar, Gillian Anderson, and Helen Mirren, with Gheisar reprising his role as Julian from Wonder.
This movie shows how one act of kindness can live on forever.

The Dead Sea, shared by Israelis, Jordanians and Palestinians – is a unique salt-lake, known for its exceptional geographical, biological, and historical value, and is the lowest point on Earth. Tragically, the Dead Sea is drying up, causing widespread damage, including huge sinkholes, abandoned beaches and collapsing roads. This is not an act of nature. This is due to overconsumption and poor water management. If action is not taken soon, very little of the Dead Sea will remain.In a region of ongoing conflict, troubled politics and destructive economics, natural resources have been exhausted and are urgently signaling their demise. To save the Dead Sea, the surrounding countries must work together. Three people – a Jordanian, an Israeli and a Palestinian – feel they cannot just stand by and do nothing.

On September 1, at 6 p.m., we invite the residents of Płock and everyone interested to the premiere of a documentary film made by the Nobiscum Foundation on the initiative of Arieh Bomzon and Sandra Brygart Rodriguez – descendants of the Bomzon and Brygart families from Płock.
The film shows their sentimental journey to their hometown and their efforts to discover their roots and "fill the genealogical suitcase", as well as get to know places related to the past of their families. The film was based on interviews conducted by the Nobiscum Foundation with Arieh, Sandra and Arieh's granddaughter – Tomer in the spring of 2023 in Płock as well as recordings of Arieh's sons: Ze'ev, Ilan and David.
The film will also be presented to the audience of the Memorial House in Płońsk and posted on the website of the Nobiscum Foundation.

26 Frauen, die in Israel bei Spielfilmen Regie geführt haben, berichten über ihre Erfahrungen im Regiestuhl. Von den ersten Regisseurinnen – Elida Gera – bis zu den heute arbeitenden. Sie schwingen mit, kollidieren, lösen sich voneinander und verbinden sich miteinander. Ihre Geschichten bilden eine filmische Verquickung unterschiedlicher und ähnlicher Frauen. During the Oslo Jewish Film Festival, 5 films with a Jewish theme will be shown, two screenings of each film:

"Four Winters" and "Vishniac" are new documentaries, respectively about Jewish resistance during the Second World War and about the photographer Roman Vishniac. "Kidnapped" and "Avenue of the Giants" are both new fiction films, the first set in 1850s Italy and the second about an encounter between a Holocaust survivor and an insecure American teenager. In addition, we are showing "Madame Rosa", a classic from 1977 that garnered good reviews and won prestigious awards in the 70s.

He tries to engage in conversations with the current tenants about a piece of furniture left there, an old German credenza. During the search, Jacob also involves his mother over the phone, which opens up new clues and wider perspectives
A personal, tragicomic story about how history and displacement of people affects the identity and human memory of different generations.

The director and protagonist of the film and initiator of the project KREDENS: LIVE, Jacob Dammas, is a Danish (of Polish-Jewish descent) documentary filmmaker and creator of cultural projects, based in Copenhagen and Warsaw.
