Promesses Secrètes, un spectacle original de Yaël Morciano

Ce spectacle vous fera entrer dans un monde où se sont rencontrés l’Occident européen et les marges de l’Orient, s’échangeant des mots, des mélodies et des marchandises. Empruntant aux traditions orales des pays traversés, les chants et les contes judéo-espagnols, parfois inspirés du Me’am Lo’ez, mettent en valeur le rôle des femmes comme piliers de la transmission. Des femmes résolues, courageuses, fidèles, garantes des traditions et capables de surmonter les épreuves de la vie. Des femmes astucieuses quelquefois, qui portent d’une façon inattendue, la relation vivante avec l’Invisible.

European Days of Jewish Culture in Ljubljana & First Jewish Culture Festival in Ljubljana

We are delighted to welcome you to the first Jewish Culture Festival in Ljubljana, a three-day celebration of Jewish heritage, history, and creativity at the heart of the city. From concerts and lectures to guided walks, storytelling, and delicious food, the festival offers something for everyone – bringing Jewish culture closer to all generations.

Friday, September 5
The festival opens at 8:00 PM with a concert by the exceptional Ladino singer Nanni Vazzana, whose evocative voice transports audiences into the world of Sephardic poetry and melodies.

Saturday, September 6
The day is dedicated to learning and exploring:

• Morning and afternoon lectures on the history of Jews in Ljubljana and Slovenia

• Guided walks along the Stolpersteine (stumbling stones), brass plaques commemorating victims of Nazism

• A visit to the Jewish Museum of Ljubljana

• An evening klezmer concert at 8:00 PM with Kontra Quartet, delivering an explosive and moving interpretation of traditional klezmer music

Sunday, September 7
The morning program is dedicated to children and storytelling lovers:

• Puppet show “The Little Vampire Goes to School” – a playful tale of difference and acceptance

• Stories of Ljubljana’s Jewish families and Holocaust survivors, shared through intimate puppet and storytelling performances

The festival closes on Sunday evening with the theater performance “Tales from Odessa / The Story of My Pigeon Loft” – a touching and humorous reflection on life, identity, and memory.

Les chansons collectées par la folkloriste pionnière Ruth Rubin (1906-2000) dessinent un imaginaire populaire habité de jeunes femmes rebelles, de couples clandestins, d'hommes trompés, d'ouvriers, d'artisans, de voleurs et de révolutionnaires.
Le "petit peuple" de ce monde chante, berce, scande et psalmodie. Il parle à notre temps avec une actualité parfois déconcertante.
La chanson le dit : "Le métier, je l'ai reçu en héritage : il ne faut certes pas voler, mais… prendre, on peut !” Prendre, mais pas voler… cela rappelle étrangement ce que s'évertuent à faire les musiciens traditionnels : Puiser dans un héritage commun, et y mettre sa pâte ! N'est-ce pas le propre d'une tradition vivante, de se voir sans cesse appropriée, réinventée, voire détournée ?
“À l’écoute du disque, il y a, dans la voix d’Eléonore Biezunski, dans ses chants yiddish exhumés d’un folklore ancien, dans ses accents joyeusement gutturaux et ses lenteurs véhémentes pour raconter le petit peuple qui pleure, qui trime ou qui prie, une expressivité aussi émouvante que réjouissante.

Mother M. Amadeja Pavlović saved a girl Zdenka Bienenstock during Second World War. She was hining her in the monastery from 1941. till 1945. Mother Amadeja was declared Righteous Among the Nations in 2009.

The promotion of the picture book "Mother Amadeja" will be held in the Monastery of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross with a rich cultural and artistic program.

Koreos is a drama-dance group from Osijek that performs a type of art known as choreodrama. The main guiding idea of ​​all choreodramas of this group is to convey strong life messages without a single word, through dance, dramatic expression and emotional music. The group was created in 2016, and is made up of talented students of the Ruđer Bošković Technical School and Science High School from Osijek. Leader, prof. Igor Grubišić, screenwriter and director of all choreo-dramas, is a religion teacher at the same school.
Choreodrama Otti is biographical in nature, and its goal is to bring viewers closer to the life of Otti Berger from Baranja, a great textile designer, but above all a joyful and noble person, who was killed in World War II just because she was Jewish.

le FARBAND, en partenariat avec ANIMA, vous propose à 19h30 une conférence musicale avec Mirélè Rozen et Didier Lapostre

Mirélè Rozen et Didier Lapostre ont en commun d’avoir tous deux levé le voile sur leurs ascendances juives, ignorées par leurs propres familles.
Mirélè, après s’être prise de passion pour les chants et la langue yiddish, retrouve des lettres de son arrière-grand-père, datées de la fin du 19ème siècle, évoquant sa judéité et son amour pour une femme catholique.
Didier, historien, découvre que ses aïeuls étaient des colporteurs juifs lorrains, alors que la légende familiale évoquait une princesse russe dépouillée de ses biens.
Tous deux nous révèleront les destins de ces familles juives, dans un échange entremêlé de chants en yiddish et en français interprétés par Mirélè Rozen, ainsi que leurs ouvrages publiés aux éditions Anima & Cie : « Les petits secrets d’Antoinette-Alice Daltroff » de Didier Lapostre et Chantal Panagopoulos et « Rose en ciel », livre-CD de Mirélè Rozen.

A students from Verona, Warsaw and Osijek present their works (art, dance, acting…) created as part of the UNITED project.
The project UNITED is implemented by the Nansen Dialogue Centre (Croatia) in partnership with the Technical school and Natural Sciences Gymnasium Ruđer Bošković Osijek (Croatia), Glocal Factory (Italy), IIS “Ferraris Fermi” (Italy), Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor (Slovenia) and WCIES (Poland) and is funded by the European Union through the CERV program.
The activity is prepared by students and teachers (Ozana Vignjević and Igor Grubišić) of the Technical school and Natural Sciences Gymnasium Ruđer Bošković Osijek.

Mit seinem Programm „Hebräisch rund um die Welt“ wird der Bariton Hemi Levison sein Publikum auf eine musikalische Reise rund um die Welt mitnehmen. Dabei widmet sich der aus Israel stammende Sänger Liedern, die ins Hebräische übersetzt wurden.

Der Eintritt ist frei. Das Konzert wird durch die Stadt Goslar organisiert.
