To mark the European Days of Jewish Culture and the European Heritage Days, we invite you to join us at the Samuel Bak Museum and experience Jewish culture in a different way—through music, movement and dance.

On 6 September, dance instructor Julija Patashnik will lead an Israeli dance class. Together, we will explore the tradition of Israeli dance, learn some basic steps and, most importantly, dance together.

Israeli dance is a vibrant and communal tradition that brings together music from different periods, diverse cultural influences and the power of movement to connect people. So come on your own, with friends or with your family—no previous dance experience is required.

The class is part of the September event series “Love, Memory and Heritage.” This year’s theme for the European Days of Jewish Culture is “Love”, while the European Heritage Days encourage us to protect, cherish and revive our heritage.
