A renowned Slovenian writer, author of several novels, including the novel Billiards at the Hotel Dobray, and photographer Dušan Šarotar will present a selection of black-and-white photographs he has taken over the past two years in the most eastern part of Slovenia, known as Prekmurje. The central motifs of the photographic works are ruins and abandoned places, which prompt the author to reflect on transience, memory, silence, and the possibility of storytelling. Šarotar's photographs are closely linked to his literary work, which invites reflection on the connection between the visible and the invisible, and between the inner and outer worlds.

The exhibition will be displayed from 8 September to 21 September 2026.
