This September, we invite you to a special programme of events at the Jacques Lipchitz Museum in Druskininkai to mark the European Days of Jewish Culture and the European Heritage Days.

This year's theme for the European Days of Jewish Culture is “Love”, while the European Heritage Days encourage us to protect, cherish and revive what we have inherited. On weekends throughout September, we invite you to visit the museum, discover the life and work of Jacques Lipchitz, explore Jewish culture through educational activities and enjoy Israeli cinema.

PROGRAMME

6 September, 12:00 | Guided Tour of the Jacques Lipchitz Museum and the Exhibition Jacques Lipchitz: Pilgrim Sculptures with Chief Curator Ieva Bernotaitė
During the tour, visitors will discover the life and work of Jacques Lipchitz, the world-renowned sculptor born in Druskininkai, and visit the exhibition Jacques Lipchitz: Pilgrim Sculptures.

6 September, 13:00 | Israeli Film Festival
The film programme will be briefly introduced by Ieva Bernotaitė, Chief Curator of the Jacques Lipchitz Museum.
